COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY TEACHING
University of Massachusetts at Amherst – As a graduate student I was selected as a Teaching
Assistant (TA). I instructed Managerial Accounting for freshman and Financial Accounting for
Graduate Students who did not have a business undergraduate degree. I was the only TA,
selected to instruct on the graduate level without a graduate degree. I was selected as the Mass
State CPA Society for a Manuscript Award on a monograph entitled Standards of Forecasting.
University of Maryland - European Division – While serving as a Captain in the US Army
Finance Corps in Germany I instructed Principles I & II in the on post evening program offered
by the University of Maryland.
Northeastern University – I instructed Principles for Northeastern as an adjunct prior to joining
the staff at Bentley as an adjunct.
Bentley College - I had a ten year relationship with Bentley prior to relocating to the West
Coast for professional reasons. I instructed numerous courses on the graduate and undergraduate
level in the evening program. My student instructor evaluations at Bentley were consistently
excellent.

Portland State University – Upon my relocation to the West Coast, I instructed Principles of
Accounting.
Portland Community College – I had a long relationship with PCC and instructed Principles
and Intermediate Accounting. . Mentor students to transfer to four year colleges in Oregon upon
matriculation – primarily Portland State, University of Oregon, Oregon State University.
Marylhurst University - I was a frequent guest lecturer at Marylhurst in their MBA Program
in a course focused on the development of business strategy. As a former executive at
Computervision Corporation, I led the discussion on a case study focused on Computervision.
