When you go to visit the Museum
of Florida History you will go back
into time. You will first go back into
the Civil War and how Florida was
a huge part of it. You will see what
kind of weapons were used in the
civil war to the kind of lifestyle
they had
3. WORLD WAR II EXHIBIT
You will then make your way to
the World War II exhibit where
you will see how much Florida
contributed to the war. You will
see how many airfields Florida
had in the war and how much
of an impact it had on the war.
Here you will see a photo of
what a soldier would wear
as a submarine captain.
4. NAVAL SHIPS NAMED AFTER FLORIDA
You will then make your way to the
Naval Ships exhibit. All of these ships
were names Florida. Here you will
see the different types of ships used
during the history of Florida. You can
start to see the transformation from
wooden ships to the steel ships to
even a submarine (pictured below)
