2. Soccer
Records trace the history of Soccer back more than 2,000 years ago to
ancient China. Greece , Rome and parts of Central America also claim to
have started the sport ; but it was England that transitioned soccer , or what
the British and many other people around the World call “Football” into the
game we know today . The English are credited with recording the first
uniform rules for the sport, including forbidding tripping opponents and
touching the ball with hands.
As the sports developed , more rules were implemented and more historical
landmarks were set. For example , the penalty kick was introduced in 1891.
Red and Yellow cards were introduced during the 1970 World Cup finals.
Most recent major changes include goalkeepers being banned from
handling deliberate back passes in 1992 and tackles from behind becoming
Red Card penalties in 1998.
3. Soccer History
Soccer is one of the most popular sports in Europe and the
America. It has a vivid and interesting history in the world of
sports. Early evidence of soccer being played as a sport finds
occurrence in China during 2nd and 3rd centuries B.C. In China ,
it was during the Han Dynasty that people Dribbled leather balls
by kicking it into a small net. Recorded facts also support the
fact that Romans and Greeks used to play ball for fun. Some
facts point to Kyoto, Japan where kicking of ball was a popular
sport.

It is said that early growth of the modern soccer started in England.
Some amusing facts even mention that the first ball used was the head
of some Danish brigand. It is said that during medieval times , the old
form of soccer used to allow many ill practices the kicking , punching
, biting and gouging . The main aim was to carry the ball to a target
spot. It is also said that soldiers admired the game so much that they
missed archery practice to watch it.
King Edward III banned soccer in 1365 owing to the growing
incidents of violence and military indulgence in the sport.
The nativity of modern day soccer must be credited to Britain.
5. FIFA
The Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) was founded in the rear
of the headquarters of the Union des Societies Franciases de Sports Athletiques
(USFSA) in Paris on 21 May 1904. The founding members were the national
associations of Belgium , Denmark , France , The Netherlands , Spain , Sweden and
Switzerland. The first president of FIFA was Robert Guerin.
The first tournament FIFA staged , the association football competition for the 1908
Olympics in London. Membership of FIFA expanded beyond Europe with the
application of South Africa in 1909 , Argentina in 1912 , Canada and Chile in 1913 , and
the United States in 1914.
The FIFA collection is held by the National Football Museum at Urbis in Manchester
, England . The first World Cup was held in 1930 in Montevideo, Uruguay.

All of North and Central America , The Caribbean island countries as well as Guyana and
Suriname in South America.
CONMEBOL:
The ten remaining South American Countries.
UEFA:
The whole of Europe plus some countries in Asia.
AFC:
The rest of Asia plus Australia , which joined on 1 January 2006, having previously been part of
the OFC
OFC:
New Zealand, Papua New Guinea , and the Pacific Islands including Polynesia , Melanesia and
Mirconesia.

UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) is the division where Europe's teams are
placed. The most famous teams are especially from this region including Germany, Italy,
England ,France, Spain and Netherlands. The teams that are most famous are from these
countries especially. Here's a good sort of all kings of football according to countries and

FA PREMIER LEAGUE : In 1992 the top division of clubs in England formed a breakaway
league, enabling them to take a larger share of income from media rights in comparison to
the rest of the football league. The Premier League (originally Premiership) currently
consists of 20 clubs.

9. BUNDESLIGA : The Germany had a great history including their players, morale, fan
support and the main thing, glory. It is the most watched football league , in 2007 there
