Method 2: Look for the Accidentally Deleted Files in the
Recycle Bin

probably deleted. For this, the first location you should check is the
Recycle Bin. Deleted files first go into the Recycle Bin. However, you will
not find the deleted files if you have emptied the Recycle Bin or used the
SHIFT + DELETE key combination.

If you are unable to locate the files on the Recycle Bin, use the backup
created on cloud or an external storage drive to recover the accidentally
deleted files. Regularly maintained backups on a storage media like HDD,
SSD, or cloud really come in handy in such situations.
Method 4: Use the Backup and Restore (Windows 7)
Feature to Recover Deleted Files
The Backup and Restore feature on Windows 11 and 10 is a great
addition by Microsoft, allowing users to automatically create data backups
on an external drive. However, this feature should be enabled well in
advance. If you have enabled this feature, use it to recover accidentally
deleted files on your Windows PC. Here’s what to do –
Open Control Panel.
Click on Backup and restore (Windows 7).

Connect the external drive with system recovery files on it.

Windows OS. If this feature is enabled, you can use it to restore the file
folder to its previous state to recover deleted files. To use this feature to

Open File Explorer.

Right-click on it and select Restore previous versions.

Using multiple locations/storage devices to create backups copies.

plan.
