Ladies in Islam don't seek similar treatment as their western partners do and Islam's treatment
of ladies has been a subject of tremendous discussion of late. Some vibe that Islam's treatment
of ladies isn't exactly unreasonable or even that its the right method for treating ladies (I've even
heard a Muslim lady say that she wears the Hijab/Burqa to as a matter of fact safeguard men in
light of the fact that clearly men are feeble against a lady's stunner) while others concur that
Islam treats ladies unjustifiably some of the time even brutally however they hold the Koran and
the 'basics of Islam' answerable for this. My conviction is that yes ladies are dealt with
unreasonably in Islam however the justification behind that isn't the lessons of the Koran or in
any event, conditioning by the Muslim ministry.

It is as a matter of fact the traditionalist and group mindset that saturates Islamic culture today,
erring on this later. There are a few sections in Islam where ladies are seen as being as lesser
animals than men for instance: "men are responsible for ladies since Allah has made one of
them (men) to succeed different (ladies), subsequently man's predominance over ladies... great
ladies are the respectful ones... counsel the insubordinate ladies and exile them, and scourge
them (whip them seriously to cause torment) (4:34) OR Your ladies are your fields, so go into
your fields however you like.... (MAS Abdel Haleem, The Qur'an, Oxford UP, 2004) both of the
above sections suggesting without equivocalness that Men are to be the experts of ladies and
ladies are to be their slaves implied only for multiplication and actual excitement. There are
likewise entries where the Qur'an endorses discipline for ladies who have wandered: If you
dread oppressiveness from your spouses, help them [of the instructing to remember God], then
disregard them when you head to sleep, then, at that point, hit them. Assuming that they submit
to you, you reserve no privilege to act against them. God is generally high and amazing.
(Haleem, accentuation added).
