Assigning doctors to patients
Lack of consistence in consultation and treatment between doctors and
patients.
Difficulty in building cordial relationship with a doctor.
Issues with confidentiality
Patients records and trust in some doctors
Waning of people seeking medical attention at the KNUST Hospital
KNUST Hospital no longer a first choice of growing number of staff.
4. RECOMMENDATION
Staff and their dependants be assigned to a doctor who will be
responsible for their health care needs.
Different doctor may attend to them on an emergency circumstance.
Creation of family doctor system be established to build stronger trust
and increase the confidentiality in the patient-doctor relationships.
5. CONCLUSION
University community will enjoy better services from the hospital if the
above recommendation are implemented by the Management.
The hospital will be recognised as best in terms of service delivery.
It will also attract a lot of people to seek medical care in the hospital.
It will also lead to an increase in patronage of the hospital.
