Dear AIESEC members,
I had the pleasure of working with and of getting to know Adriana for the first half of this year, during one
long sales campaign of AIESEC Iasi, in which we all tried as a team to achieve our common goals.
Being in the position of our department’s VP, she knew how to motivate and coordinate us as a team and
also as individuals, but also how to work side by side with us.
Always enthusiastic and with a smile on her face, she tried to make the department work and
responsibilities a fun learning experience for its members.
A good knower of the organization and its directions, of the sales process and external environment
connection, Adriana knew how to always present, act and plan according to the AIESEC values, but
especially to her personal value, Emotionally Involved. She puts a lot of work and soul in what she does and
this reflects in her actions and results.
Always connected to both external and AIESEC environment (for example she had a good relationship with
other VPs in the country), she always tried to make us more curious, more active and more informed about
things like: conferences, trainings (I remember when she got for us access to a sales training in an other
NGO’s project, where I got my free CNFPA certification of sales man), external news (at each department
meeting we share new ones), networking events (at one point AIESEC became member of a national
networking organization and we participated at many of their gatherings), CSR, Corporate Exchange, or
many other notions and aspects which offered us the opportunity to really learn and do more.
A person with initiative, she implemented new ways of promoting our department in the LC (for example a
certain period in which other members could experience our department and they could go in sales
meetings with us), getting valuable knowledge from older experienced members who she called in our
meetings, or redesigning the entire department structure and way of action, to make it more efficient and
productive (this after giving us the first initiative as members, and after thorough work with other members
of the board).
For me, that half of year was a great experience and Adriana was one of the persons who really contributed
to this. I wish her the best and I hope she can really have the chance to contribute more to others
development and results for the future.
