Regarding a recommendation for Adam Killion
Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing this letter in recommendation for employment for Mr. Adam Killion. I know Adam through
being the General Manager of Oakwood Country Club at which Adam was employed for the past three
seasons as a Golf Shop Attendant.
With over 20 years of experience in the private club industry, I have met and supervised numerous
young employees whom I depend upon providing exceptional member services without the advantage
of having garnered much experience in the working world. Adam has impressed me considerably with
his work ethic and maturity. His primary duties as the first staff member to come in contact with the
membership as they arrived at the club to play golf and to enjoy themselves was to convey our mantra
of “Your Home Away From Home”. His demeanor and continual positive energy immediately put our
members at ease.
During my walk-throughs of the Club, I would encounter Adam in the Golf Shop and purposely take time
to converse with him on topics ranging from the game of golf to world politics. He is a bright, intelligent,
and extremely respectful person. Adam received the honor of Oakwood Employee of the Month with a
featured spotlight in our club’s newsletter in July of 2014. He has definitely left his mark on the
Oakwood Golf Staff and set a benchmark for future employees to strive for.
Without hesitation I would recommend Mr. Adam Killion for employment at your facility and look
forward to someday welcoming him as a member of Oakwood Country Club.
