We think that it may be hard to improve the Skill Variety, We think that the best way would be
to adopt a Job Enrichment approach but modified. Instead of giving more responsibility
in areas that they are already in, give them more responsibility in that requires them to
use more skills. This allows for the worker to feel as if the management respects him and
sees his value, so he/she works harder. This also allows for new skills to be used where
they would not have before. Another good way would be to do some cross training, this
helps to ensure that all members find the value in what their colleagues do as well as
allows them to try new things using new skills. This could even leave to a worker finding
a job that more suits them.
