10. Brief Scope of Work
PFCL intends to procure and implement ORACLE software licenses from authorized partner of Oracle India Pvt. Ltd.
(OEM). As part of implementation of Oracle products / License(s)PFCL intends that the bidder would supply the
ORACLE license along with installation implementation and support services as per scope defined here under would
be provided thru OEM certified resources.

• Perform trial migration and then final production migration for production databases at DC.
• We will support asynchronous/ synchronous replication of the primary database to secondary database (and vice versa) to provide data
redundancy, eliminate I/O freezes, and minimize latency spikes during system backups.
• We will support a manual failover of the DB instance from primary to a standby replica. Vendor should support the needs of database
workloads that are sensitive to storage performance and consistency in random access I/O throughput.
• We will support creating a DB back up and restoring the DB instance from the backup to a specific date and time.
• Detailed documentation along with screenshots of DC-DR replication, restoration and recovery process shall be provided by the vendor.

• We will provide support services for Technical and Operational issues from OEM Certified Resource
• We shall provide updates, patches to address the functional requirements / enhancements, bugs, security threats etc.

• Training / Knowledge Session-
• We will provide 3 days training/Knowledge session to PFC resources at PFC premises (New Delhi) Covering the Oracle Database,
Implementation and performance Tuning of Oracle Database
• Migration Services –
• If there is a need to migrate existing Oracle products to the latest version during the implementation of Oracle products, we will
perform the migration activity of Oracle products
