4. Candidates who are interested in joining BHEL as a Graduate
Engineer Trainee have to first of all appear in Graduate
Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Candidates are then
shortlisted for the Interview through GATE marks and
requirement.
5. BHEL likewise recruits Bachelor in Engineering / Technology
or 5-year Integrated Master Degree holder in Engineer /
Technology fresher in the disciplines of Mechanical / Electrical/
Electronics for the position of Engineer Trainee.
6. The open selection process starts in the month of August to
September for those who have completed their engineering
degree in mechanical, civil and electronics.

is moderate to difficult.

relations and statement reasoning. Topics from basic
mathematics like time, speed & distance, algebra, arithmetic,

11. The technical interview consists of General Engineering
concepts and specific engineering concepts relating to the field
of operations. Candidates are selected on the basis of their
