It’s a kite flying Panjabi festival of Pakistan
and India in start of Spring season but It’s
basic origin is from Sikh community.
Flying kite is fun but it is harmful for
people
People used to stay on top of buildings
and it’s makes them easier to watch
other’s houses inside which is not allowed
in Islam
Pecha, Bhangrha, Firing, Music, Mix
gathering, are basic negative issues of
Basant
Wastage of Time, Energies and Money

for Us?

16. Flying a kite
 1.It should not distract one from remembering Allah and praying
 2.It should not distract one from doing some essential duty
 3.It should not involve extravagance (Israf), because that is
blameworthy
 4.It should not involve any haraam betting between competitors.
 5.In the case of kites in particular, they should not be in the shape of
animate beings or animals or birds, unless the one who is playing with
it is a small child, because there is a concession for small children that
is not made in the case of adults.
 Fly in open area.
 Manja used should not be harmful

concepts
• People ask for food, candies and if
someone don’t give them they scare them
so it’s wrong.
• There basic concept is fake concept.
• It’s not beneficial for the society

It’s a Christian festival and we are
Muslims.

Making fool is not allowed in Islam
Lie, Cheating, scary pranks etc are not allowed
It’s based on wrong concept that you are
allowed to tell a lie on this day.
Making fun of others is allow on this day.

32. What kind of jokes allowed in Islam
 It not should not involve any element of making fun of Islam.
 The jokes should only be truthful.
 Not scaring people
 Mocking people by winking behind their backs or making snide
remarks
 The jokes should not be excessive.
 Acknowledging people’s status
 The amount of joking should be like the amount of salt in one’s
food.
 It should not involve backbiting.
 Choosing appropriate times for joking.

 Jummah
 The blessed month of Ramadaan, which is a month that has special
characteristics
 2 – Eid al-Fitr (the Feast of Breaking the Fast). This is the first day of the month of
Shawwaal
