Job Description:
1. 137MWe Steam Turbine / Generator:
 Performed T/G start up and shut down procedure
 Performed call up cards and routine operation checks.
 T/G and its auxiliaries system taken into service.
 Monitor all parameters and take complete reading set with corrective
action accordingly.
2.Conventional /Auxiliaries equipment:
 Operate and monitor all auxiliaries and conventional system like:
 Operation of 600-scfm air compressor.
 Operation of centrifugal and PD compressores.
 Routine checks, starting, synchronizing, loading and stopping of
1200KWe diesel generators from control room and field
 System line up, isolation, normalization and priming of systems for
planned shut down jobs for overhauling of main turbine condensate
pumps, De- aerator, feed water pumps and other auxiliaries of turbine
system.
 Operation of cooling pumps.
 Operation of boiler feed centrifugal pumps (upto 2000HP).
 Operation of chemical dosing PD pumps.
 Controlling of Steam Generators Level.

5. Control Room:
 Most modern and fully computerized NPP control room. DCS Based Computerized
control ,PLC and also pneumatic controller experienced
 Operation and switching of high voltage switch gear (132KV) and OCB, SF6
breakers.
 Operation of 4000V/400V breakers for plant distribution system.
 Isolation & de-isolation of 4160 /400 Breakers of Megnablast, Ak225, Ak-125 and
vacuum circuit breaker.
 Handling of different operational emergencies and system transients with quick and
effective operational response
 Monitor all critical parameters in C/R & take complete reading set.
 Acknowledge alarms & take corrective action accordingly.
 Feed all C/R logs and technical data & take print out.
 I can read and understand flow diagram and elementary diagrams.
 Operational isolations and normalization on PCC (power control center) and
MCC (motor control center)
 Post maintenance testing of individual equipments as per recommended test procedures.
 Prepared and supervise where required WA, W&TA and OTO to provide isolation

check list of industrial safety measures for specific job.
