counselling for students
as well in India. He is
an entrepreneur as well.
More and more students wish to be their own boss.
Less students wish to pursue higher scientific education
Internet option of working seems lucrative
Parents have high hope of seeing their wards as doctrates
Cost of education seems to bother most than duration
Not all colleges have good infrastructure for higher edu
Students want to become entrepreneurs rather than scientists.
Few talented inventors met with investors.
It was telephonic interview at lunch time
Jerry was busy answering his students and/or others
Interview went for 15 minutes
He encourages students to become entrepreneurs
Less than 10% of students enroll for masters
Colleges dont have adequate labs for higher education

I think Jerry wants ALL his students to pursue
entrpreneurship.
Maybe because the world is going towards it.
However, education at highest level is important, not
everyone can be boss, someone has to do the job.
Students think, getting into job or business quickly will
give them earning potential. They feel opportunities everywhere
and dont wish to held up with lengthy course.
Students and teachers have obligation
to produce results ASAP
Peer pressure among teachers are felt to make their
students best outgoers
Patience and fortitude in knowledge are traded for
career and money
Easy streams of income makes students to beleive
in making money in more than one way.
Jerry is forcing many students to be entrpreneurs
who otherwise may continue with doctrate programs.
People think internet is viable
alternative for knowledge and
hence wants to start earning more
quicker than earlier gen.
Parents and teachers want thier wards
to start earning ASAP and rush
them into decisions
Study to Work transistion is still the
major way of life for most but students
prefer many different courses and
jobs at same time than earlier gen
Mobile, website businesses are looked
upon as alternative for higher / more
qualified education.
