U.S. Army aids France with RPG-defense test data ABERDEEN PROVING
GROUND, Md. -- The U.S. Army has transferred to France technical test data on a rocket-
propelled grenade defense system that is vital to its military operations in Mali, officials
announced. The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, through its
International Technology Center-France, helped to facilitate the exchange between the allies,
said Lt. Col. Robert Willis, who led the project for RDECOM.

Army announces ACC senior leadership changes REDSTONE ARSENAL,
Ala. -- Two of Army Contracting Command's senior leaders have been selected for reassignment,
the Army announced June 28. Maj. Gen. Camille M. Nichols, ACC commanding general, was
selected for assignment as deputy commanding general for support/chief of staff, Installation
Management Command. Brig. Gen. Theodore "Ted" C. Harrison, commanding general,
Expeditionary Contracting Command, was selected to succeed Nichols as the ACC commanding
general.

nominated for appointment to brigadier general. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel
nominated Gabbert and 34 other Army colonels for promotion, according to a July 2

GROUND, Md. -- The Army Materiel Systems Analysis Activity initiated the Center for Army
Acquisition Lessons Learned in response to a 2010 Army Acquisition Review recommendation
that the Army should develop a single database that captures "appropriate programs, issues,
trends, solutions and successes in acquisition programs."
