1. The Forum ‘FORUM FOR INTEGRITY, TRANSPARENCY & ACCOUNTABILITY IN LEGAL
PROFESSION’ stands for Integrity, Transparency and Accountability in Legal Profession –
which includes the Bench & the Bar both and to fulfill its Aims & Objects, the Forum
(‘FITALP‘) is persistently approaching the Hon’ble CJI & other Hon’ble Judges of the
Supreme Court through its letters, indicating important issues which require Immediate
attention and action.
2. Accordingly, the Forum requested Hon’ble Mr. Justice RM Lodha, the then CJI and Hon’ble
Mr. Justice HL Dattu, the then CJI to Immediately Recall the Illegal, Unauthorised &
Contemptuous Order passed by Hon’ble Mr. Justice RM Lodha in his Administrative
capacity whereby certain Rules of the Supreme Court Rules pertaining to MISCONDUCT of
AORs and Appearances were Stayed as the matter had become Sub-judice before the
Hon’ble Supreme Court of India on filing of WP ( C) No. 755/ 2014 by the SCBA and to
kindly direct that the Provisions regarding MISCONDUCT OF AORs and Appearances
obtained by the Advocates in Violation of the Supreme Court Rules, 2013 should not be
taken into account for any Purpose whatsoever and the Supreme Court records may be
Reconciled as per the Supreme Court Rules, 2013 but Hon’ble Mr. Justice RM Lodha, the
then CJI and Hon’ble Mr. Justice HL Dattu, the then CJI did not pass any order. Copy of my
petition dated August 25, 2014 addressed to Hon’ble Mr. Justice RM Lodha and copies of
my petitions dated Oct 25, 2015 and Nov 14, 2015 addressed to Hon’ble Mr. Justice HL
Dattu, the then CJI are enclosed for ready reference.
The Hon’ble CJI will very kindly appreciate the delicacy of the matter and pass
immediate orders in the Interest of Justice to establish Rule of Law.
