  2. 2. starch test <br />1st I took cereal, mashed it into a powder and put it in a test tube <br />2nd I put water and iodine solution and mixed it together <br />3rd I put a little water into it<br />Result: the solution turned black <br />Conclusion: starch is present <br />
  3. 3. Protein test<br />1st I took cereal, mashed it to a powder and put it in a test tube <br />2nd I took biuret solution A and biuret solution B and added it to the test tube <br />Result: turned dark blue <br />Conclusion: protein is present<br />
  4. 4. Fat test<br />1st I took cereal and mashed it into a powder <br />2nd I rubbed it onto a filter paper <br />Result: if you hold the paper up to the light, it turns translucent <br />Conclusion: cereal contains fat <br />
