By: Liam,Justin,Francis
Words describing the nature of
baobabs
* big
* terrible
* bad
* disaster
Find phrases that show the behavior of
baobabs
• The seeds sleep in the secrecy of the earth, until one of
them suddenly decides to wake up
• And if the planet is too small, and if the baobabs are too
numerous, they will finally make the planet explode
• So it stretches itself and timidly at first, extends towards the
sun a ravishing, innocent little shoot.
Find phrases telling who/what is
affected by Baobabs
*Terrible baobabs
*Trees the size of churches
*Baobabs, before they grow big, start off small
*Do you want your sheep to eat the baby baobabs?
*And a baobab, if you tackle it too late can never be got rid of
afterwards
*And if the planet is too small, and if the baobabs are too
numerous, they will finally make the planet explode
*You must force yourself to pull up the baobabs regularly which
they resemble so closely in the early youth
Find Words/phrases that show the
emotion towards Baobabs
* It clutters everything. It will bore right through a planet with its
roots. And if the planet's too small and the baobabs too
numerous, they will finally make the planet explode
Find phrases telling how to deal with baobabs
• But the little prince added "then it follows that they
also eat baobabs?" I reminded the little prince that
the baobabs are not small bushes but trees the
size of of churches. And that even if he took a
whole herd of elephants home with him, they would
not succeed in dispatching a single baobab. The
idea of the herd of elephants made the little prince
laugh.
Write a paragraph explaining what this symbol
refers to in our real lives
We think that the boababs refer to fear in our real lives because
the baobabs symbolize the everyday hurdles and challenges
that us, as humans, are faced with. More specifically, the
symbol refers to the idea that people often procrastinate and
don't deal with their immediate problems and issues. That is
similar to the story of the baobabs because the man didn't deal
with his baobabs quickly enough, and because of that, his
baobabs grew too big.
