This document is a tribute to a dog named Luke. It describes Luke as the first of his litter to bound out and how he lived with his brother Lucky and another dog named Sam. Though Luke was a housedog, he often found himself in trouble for mischief like tipping bowls and opening cupboards. It teaches that dogs show us the importance of watching out for each other, caring for those who depend on us, appreciating life, playing, not taking life too seriously, and unconditional love. Luke lost a battle with lymphoma but wagged his tail courageously until the end and lived a loyal and enthusiastic, if somewhat spoiled, life.
