Assessment Task 1
Inspiration Board
Based on the design brief and the research data collected from your store
observation; develop an inspiration board to convey the source of inspiration
for your range of garments.
You will be supplied with an A2 sized sheet of core board on which to
collate your inspirational images and items.
Your inspiration board should have a name.
Text is not necessary, but is often welcome.
The board will be completed manually. Internet images may be included.
However, they must be cut out and applied manually to the core board.
Suggested items may include:
Images found items fabrics textural items
Apply the elements and principles of design when collating the board.
Refer to the design brief when selecting items and images for inclusion.
Please note: The inspiration board does NOT include your own designs. It
may, however, include historical or other designs from which you gained
inspiration.
Your inspiration board is due on 27th August (week 6) for marking.
The board will be returned to you on 3rd September (week 7), and will form
part of your assessment task 3 presentation in week 10.
