HIGHLY SECURED NET BANKING SYSTEM USING FINGERPRINT
                         RECOGNITION TECHNIQUE

OBJECTIVE:

            The main objective of this project is to avoid hacking process in an
on-line banking sector by using finger print recognition technique.

PROBLEM DIFINITION:

           Internet banking has relatively little effect on the current profitability
            of most banks.

           Internet banking channels generally serve only a small percentage of
            bank’s customer base.

           Hackers can easily hack the SSN(social service number) or
            PIN(personal identification number) number using Brute-force
            attacks.

ABSTRACT:

       Net Banking System is well known technology typically used by
individualsto carry out a variety of personal and business financial transactions
and/or banking functions by using finger print recognition technique. Net banking
system has become very popular with the general public for their availability and
general user friendliness. Net banking system is typically available to consumers
on a continuous basis such that consumers have the ability to carry out their ATM
financial transactions and/or banking functions at any time of the day and on any
day of the week.

EXISTING SYSTEM:

    In the old net banking system, the user can log on to the online banking.
      He/she can view his account details, loan details, transaction details etc., but
      they didn’t have the facility of the fund transaction between one to one and
      third party transaction. So to overcome these drawbacks we move to the new
      system.
    Net banking system allows customers of a financial institution to conduct
      financial transactions on a secure website operated by the institution, which
      can be a retail or virtual bank, credit union or building society.



DISADVANTAGES:

          Security is less.
          We have to go to the bank for changing foreign money, so there will
             be waste of time.
          With hacking and identity theft on the rise, Internet banking
             customers have to place a certain amount of trust in the bank that their
             account information and personal information are safe.


PROPOSED SYSTEM:


      In proposed system, we are implementing finger print recognition technique
for highly secured net banking system.Internet banking identifies a particular set of
technological solutions for the development and the distribution of financial

services, which rely upon the open architecture of the Internet. With the
implementation of an Internet banking system, the banks maintain a direct
relationship with the end users v i a t h e w e b a n d a r e a b l e t o p r o v i d e a
p e r s o n a l c h a r a c t e r i z a t i o n t o t h e interface, by offering additional customized
services.


ADVANTAGES:


             Internet banking or electronic banking allows customers to access
               their accounts at any time from any computer or smart phone. This
               banking style has a lot of advantages, including 24-hour account
               monitoring, the ability to bank from anywhere and fast transactions.
             Instant payments in cash through ATM or Any Branch Banking
               concept.
             Deposit cash at any place of country and instant credit in account.
             Free of cost available by banks.
             Because of using finger print technique, the net banking system is
               highly secured.
