What kinds of space we need in our school?
“There is not enough place to “I love our community in on-line. “There is no place just be alone or
exhibit my works..” What if we make it in off-line?” be together just with my friend. It’s
always crowded in here.”

We made concepts depends on the character’s of gap.

the concept of this gap is gallery. attending students who major fine arts are approximately more than one thousands. but there was no
enough to exhibiton place. so by using gap space, we secure the exhibiton place. This space was designed with the flow of human traffic
in mind because existing place does not atrract public gaze. the basic structure of the existing space is consist of cement stone side and
wood side. the forms with cement side couldn't hang on, so we just turn into white color side by painting and using the subtle color
between the stone cracks. By emplacing the outer wall which in front of the wood side works could be displayed. Grid patterns were put
into floor tiles which imprinted with logo images. Adding luminous material to loge tiles attracted public gaze in dark night

Many people have worries of their own that are unknown to others. Sometimes people want to pour out their troubles or secrets that they
hadn't revealed before. However, it is not easy to find some real-space and people who listen or read their concerns without any bias. many
people just use the internet to share with anonymous people online.
So, our project team, teum(틈)want to create some spaces for them with finding gap space in this university. these places is located in the
campus and the space is very narrow, but it is enough to write your worries and thoughts and actually it is a nice place to think about the
worries or trouble of other anonymous students. there is no restrictions are made on the content of the posts. only that it must be completely
truthful. anything is ok from confessions , desires to embarrassing habits, hope and dreams. the secret are meant to be empowering to those
who read it. the posts are inspirational to those who read them, have healing powers for those who write, and create an anonymous
community in the university.

This little garden is constructed at a 'Gap place' which was found between a villa 'E' and a villa 'F' in Hong-ik university and there are lots
of art major students in that passage. Finding this 'Gap place' provides students who are exhausted by classes and projects with new
energy of curiosity and interest. In addition, it also gives students joy of finding a secret place only for him(her)self from monotonous daily
routine. On entering through a narrow entry of 'Gap place', students can see a totally different world. This little garden enables people to
enjoy comfortable and leisurely time. In the end, our team want to make people find new energy and breadth of mind and body by this
little garden in the 'Gap place'
