How to convert old eLive recordings using Collaborate Publish.

2. You will first need to download Collaborate
Publish here:
http://www.blackboard.com/Platforms/Collaborate/Products/Blackboard-Collaborate/WebConferencing/Publish/Publish-Download.aspx

3. Next, go to the UAA eLive public server:
https://elive.uaa.alaska.edu/
Login using your UAA username and select Recordings

4. Find your recording

5. Save the recording to your local hard drive
Rename the download file something short, descriptive and easily identifiable – especially if you are going to
download more than one recording.

6. Open Collaborate Publish and locate the
recording that you saved earlier

7. Choose your output options
Check track ad transcript boxes as needed
MP4 is the video
format that works
best with Blackboard
and most media
players
MP3 is the most widely
used audio format

8. Choose location to save, name the file and
click Convert

9. You will see progress bars as your recording
converts

10. You should now have an output file for each
option that you checked before converting
