4. * My name is Van Nguyen and I am from Viet Nam. I am a junior and
majoring in Business and Accounting at Keystone College, Pennsylvania.
After graduating from college, I would like to work in the financial area for an
NGO or international organization fostering the development of third world
country. After a few years working for an NGO, I would like to go to a
graduate program in development economics. Working as economic adviser
for developing country is my ideal job. In order to do that, I probably have to
get a PhD in economics which is expensive if I want to do it right after I
graduate from college. Therefore, working for a few years in the development
area to have stronger financial ability would be a better plan.
* For the position in the financial area, I think I'll have good understand of
accounting and business after graduating from Keystone. For the job as
economic adviser, I've prepared my knowledge in economics. I've taken some
independent study in international economics at Keystone since the school
doesn't really offer any intense economics class. I have some experience in
doing research which would help for my research career.
