Business Value Benchmarks
The due diligence assessment methodology collects and organizes data about our Customer’s
data center, policy and process in an organized and structured way. The normalized methods
we use facilitate reliable statistical comparisons. This is done to accurately benchmark the
results from Sample Client to the results of other Customers where we have performed the
same type of work. The results of these benchmark comparisons are reliable and inherently

9. valuable for decision and policy assessment.
Our process will show your environment contrasted with the results of our base of scores other
clients, many with multiple data centers, giving us a statistically reliable basis of more than
200 data center points upon which to compare.
Our report on your data center will include data and analysis, wherein we contrast six sets of
data for each of a number of over 40 technology categories. We plot:
1. The results of each of the data centers on the
same scale as the base.
2. The average of the data centers on the same
scale as the base.
3. The base maturity standard distribution curve.
4. The average for the base.
5. The industry peer maturity standard distribution
curve.
6. The average for the industry peer.

chart is effective in communicating where significant competencies and GAPs exist within a
business’ IT infrastructure.

10. The above chart allows executive management to prioritize there IT expenditures according to
those technological and business areas that have the most risk and need from a neutral
perspective. To aid the executive team in their decision making process, we can optionally
provide a cost analysis of what it will take to close those gaps as well as provide yet another
option to quantify the business value and benefit for each of those areas.
Acceptance of Deliverables
During the project, regularly scheduled meetings and project reviews will be conducted to
review the status of project activities, progress toward completing project deliverables and
services and to confirm that Client expectations are being met. A “Letter of Acceptance” will
be provided to the Client to document the completion of project deliverables and services.
