2. WHAT IS IT?
Films use a title sequence as a way of credits to
show the audience who made the film, the team
behind the film and who distributed it.
The aim of the sequence is to establish a genre,
mood, a character, setting or an atmosphere.
Generally, the credits are utilized with sound
and visuals. However, more contemporary films
don’t include them.

The studio who produced it
The distributor who got into cinemas
The top actors in the film
Other key members of the crew (editors, sound
producers, casting etc.)
The director and producer
The movie title
