The following presentation was created by me and my friend for the HEforSHE Campaign a UN Women Solidarity Movement. It's main goal is to empower Women all across the globe and make men stand for the cause. We truly support the campaign and it's Aims.. Thankyou.

5. INTRODUCTION
The HeforShe solidarity movement, is tailored for the UN
women and United Nations entities and their country offices,
society organizations and gender equality advocates and
university/college students. Gender inequality is one of the
most persistent human rights violations. Despite years of
promoting gender equality, inequalities continue to manifest
around the world.

7. KEY MESSAGES
• HeForShe is a solidarity movement for gender equality
that engages men and boys as advocates and
stakeholders, to break the silence, raise their voices
and take action for the achievement of gender equality
• Gender equality is not only a women’s issue, it is a
human rights issue for both women/girls, men/boys.
We all benefit socially, politically and economically
from gender equality in our everyday lives. When
women are empowered, whole humanity benefits.
Gender equality liberates not only women but also
men, from prescribed social roles and gender
stereotypes.

8. ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
Heforshe is A solidarity movement for gender equality
developed by UN women to engage men and boys as
advocates and agents of change for the achievement of
gender equality and women’s ights. The campaign
encourages them to speak out and take action against
inequalities faced by women and girls.

10. IMMEDIATE GOAL
The overall goal of the
campaign is to spread
awareness and spark action on
the responsibility that men and
boys have in eliminating all
forms of discrimination against
women and violence against
women and girls.

11. Additional Goals include:
• Engage the UN to develop transformative programs
for participation of men/boys for gender equality
• Collaborate with government, organizations,
universities/schools to create and promote HeForShe
events & campaigns within their local communities
• Inspire people to take action against gender
discrimination.
• Create a platform to highlight as role models, men and
boys taking a stand against gender discrimination
globally.

13. THE HeForShe CONCEPT
• Much has been achieved by the feminist movement
and women’s rights organizations in promoting
gender equality to this day; however, progress has
been uneven between and among countries with
pervasive gender based discrimination continuing in
every country and region.
• Men and boys need to be part of the global
movement to promote women’s rights both as
advocates and stakeholders, who need to change to
make gender equality a reality for all. This is not
about women or men, it is about crafting a shared
vision of human progress for all about creating a
solidarity movement between women and men for
the achievement of gender equality.

15. IMPLEMENTING THE
HeForShe CAMPAIGN
The realization of the HeforShe campaign’s full
potential requires joint efforts from all of society. UN
women will act as a facilitator, convenor and
implementers of the campaign and its global goals.

16. IMPLEMENTATION PLAN FOR
INDIVIDUALS
The success of this international solidarity
movement requires in our participation, contribution
and action. Our passion and determination will
contribute to the collective goal of achieving gender
equality and the empowerment of women and girls
around the world. Below is A list of suggested
actions that you can take in support of the HeforShe
campaign.

17. ONLINE ENGAGEMENT
• Retweet and share official content from HeforShe
social media channels.
• Share your insights with the community and
contribute to the global conversation on gender
equality.
• Donate to the HeforShe campaign at
www.Heforshe.Org.
• Display the HeforShe logo on your website/blog

18. OFFLINE ENGAGEMENT
• Introduce at least one close friend or relative to
the heforshe campaign and encourage him to
participate in the campaign
• Participate in heforshe activities in your
community, youth club, university or school.
• Organize a heforshe event in your community. You
are encouraged to host an advocacy event in
partnership with community partners. There is no
single ideal format for A heforshe event, rather, the
format should be informed by our goals, and what
we want to generate from the event.

19. SUSTAINED SUPPORT
Apart from these, one also provide their sustained
support to the heforshe campaign over its twelve--
‐month implementation phase from july 2014 – 2015,
by starting their own heforshe community group. As
A community mobilizer of the campaign, one will
engage it’s community with educational and
advocacy tools, enhancing the implementation of
the heforshe solidarity movement.

20. CONCLUSION
Their goal is to mobilize “one billion men by july
2015” to help communities around the world develop
sustainable and transformative programs to
promote gender equality. With this presentation we
would like to spread the word and hope that each
one would preach one. Thus to conclude we would
