  • The console is built similarly like a PC with a cpu, hard disk, Ram, power supply and graphic card..but this device is specially customized to work on display devices like monitors ,TVs, LCD projector … the sole purpose of these consoles generated a special naming which separates them from personal computers used for work
  • In 1972 the first home video game was released by Magnavox which started the first generation, other console was the famous Atari with the revolutionary game PONGThe second generation included VES and the new AtariThe third generation had the new version of Atari with the break hit game Super Mario brosThe forth generation witnessed the entry of Sega into the video game raceThe Sony play station 1 was released in the era of the Fifth generation consoles making a big hit selling over 100 million consoles world wideThe 6th generation had a big competition between Microsoft's XBOX, Sony's play station II , Nintendo's GameCube , and Sega’s dream castIn our present time which has the seventh generation the competition remains mostly between the XBOX 360 and the PLAY STATION 3
  • Xbox 360 is the second console produced by Microsoft being the successor of the first console XboxThe game was introduced in the E3 Conference in 2005 is still being produced up to date. from the major features of the Xbox 360 is the Xbox live service which allows players to compete against each other over the internet, moreover to download demo games, music and movies.Varying between different versions of the Xbox 360, the hard disk capacity varies between 20GB and 320GB. The main input is the wireless controller and the main game input is the DVD drive.
