How much yelling and arguing I hear on a daily basis from my parents when I
don’t do chores or do something wrong in school.
If my eyes could speak, they would tell you
What horrible verbal things I have heard, when my dad screams at my mom .
If my heart could speak, it would tell you
How broken it is because of the anger and sadness I bring to it.
If my brain could deal with everything, it would want to ask my parents,
Why do you do all of this to me and put this all on me?

Every single song that has gotten me through every rough night

that it has been through depression and anxiety but it’s still hanging in there

All the hurtful words I hear about people like “oh, they’re stupid or they’re fat “

How I’ve seen someone being bullied by words or even hits
If my heart could speak, it would tell you
That my heart is broken into pieces because of the anger I keep inside

Why are people so mean and not thinking before saying something that can hurt that person.

I just started fights all the time with people because I hated life, and
took my anger out on everyone and everything.

I run away from my fears, because I’m too terrified to see the outcome
if I stay in the moment and work it out.

All the gossip and verbal harassment I’ve had to listen to.
If my eyes could speak, they would tell you
I see my friend getting abused by her boyfriend and try to support her.
If my heart could speak, it would tell you
I am appreciated, I have friends, family and partners that love me, and
they actually love me for me.

Why is my life still so messed up?
