17. Video Explanation Process of Creating the Video: I created a storyline of what I wanted the video to look like. I got “actors” to take on the roles of the bully and victim. I had to edit the video. Then it was featured at CHS TV on June 3rd 2011. Do you remember the video? If you do, great! If not, we are going to watch it again. Enjoy!
I was bullied since I was in the 5th grade, so I wanted to teach kids and adults how to deal with bullying situations and hopefully people will pay listen more. Since I was in special education people used to pick on be because of that. I remember one time a student called me a special education (insert bad word) I’ve always wanted to teach people how to treat other and explain how bullying can get deadly if not taken in the right way. I was inspired to do this presentation by Calvin Terrell, a social centric motivational speaker who came to Canton High School in October of 2010 to talk about bullying and world issues like how to change from a “coward to a warrior” Calvin made me motivated to talk about bullying to the teachers and make a difference in the lives of people who’ve been bullied or teased.

It took about one month to tallying the survey’s. After tallying everything I started plugging everything into excel. I learned a lot about excel while doing this. I also separated the tally charts out by male and female and by grade level.
I created my video using a program called Adobe Premiere Pro CS3. It’s a video program used to make commercials and PSA’s (Public Service Announcements). This video took about 3 weeks to make. We had create an outline and organize the statistics, which were from my survey conducted at the beginning of the class and find pictures online about bullying.
