mane. A mane is
longer hair
round its neck.

cat family lions like to live in
groups called prides. There can
be up to 15 lions in a pride. Lions
are affectionate and when lying
down seem to enjoy head
rubbing, licking and purring.
Male lions will make out their
territory and if any one comes in
there territory they will roar
