• Started business in the early sixties
as the `PERMACEL’ division of
Johnson & Johnson.
• JNJ divested Permacel to PRS group
in August 1999.
• PRSS started as an export arm for
PRSP

6. Locogard
• A special fibre mat covered from top
using special coated fabric & from
other sides using high temperature
resistant fabric.
• The assembly is duly stitched using
high temperature resistant thread.
• Requisite fasteners are attached for
ease of fixing.
• It is offered in kit form as per the
drawings.

• Limiting oxygen index LOI > 50% as tested in
accordance with IS:13501
• Flame Resistant: Passes Class ‘A’ as per
Appendix 8 of UIC-564-2 OR
• Visibility Deterioration: Passes Class ‘A’ as per
Appendix 15 of UIC-564-2 OR
• Toxicity < 0.2 Units as per NCD: 1409
• Insulation Property = 120 deg c Maximum*
* Temperature of cold face, when hot face temperature is 600 Degree C.

sides with an aluminised glass fabric
and the duly sealed with an
aluminised glass cloth tape.

– Insulation Property* ( O C) 70 Maximum
* Temperature of cold face, when hot face temperature is 450 Degree C
using one layer.
– Fire resistance Passes UL-94 test at V-0
level.

top with super soft low emissive aluminised
reinforced high temperature enduring fabric.

* Temperature of cold face, when hot face temperature is 450 Degree C using
one layer.
– Suitable for -30 to +530 OC Temperature Continuous
– Fire resistance Passes UL-94 test at V-0 level.

Supertherm P 520-20
• A special insulation mat duly enveloped with high
strength high temperature enduring fabric.
– Suitable for -30 to +650 OC Temperature Continuous
– Fire resistance Passes UL-94 test at V-0 level
– Insulation effectiveness : surface temperature expected
at NMT(Not more than) 100°C with hot objects at NMT
800°C at a distance of NLT(not less than) 15”
