Are we supposed to wait for the
teacher to come back?
LEO
(takes charge) Nah she left ages
ago, all she does is put everyone
into groups of three then pisses of
to the cafe.
MAX

confusing
Max hands Leo the map.
LEO
(laughs) we don't need this map! I
know these woods like the back of
my hand! I've been in here hundreds
of times. Nothing could ever happen
in here to suprise me.
Leo receives questioning looks from Max and Scott

3. EXT. MIDDLE OF FOREST HOMELESS MAN WITH A PARROT ON HIS
SHOULDER. HE IS COOKING WITH A POT OVER A FIRE-LATER THAT
DAY
MAX
(nervously) h-hello,we, we are a
little lost
LEO
(interrupting) well we have
wondered a little out of our way
MAX
Do you think you could direct us to
the visitors center?
HOMELESS MAN
Why go there? sit down, have some
freshly made, freshly made, err,
soup! Yes, I insist you stay! Sit
down make your self comfortable.
You can have some right after i
feed my parrot.
The homeless man takes the bag from the parrot looks at it
puzzled, shrugs and stirs it into the soup. The parrot then
eats some and flies away immediately.
HOMELESS MAN
Peter come back! Where have you
gone??
He walks round in circles looking for the bird
LEO
Right, this guy is mad!
Huddles the 3 of them together with there backs turned to
the man
LEO
We need to go right now.
MAX
But im hungry, he's not that bad,
just cause he smells abit perculiar
doesnt mean he's going to kill us
or anything, i think we should stay
for food then go.
SCOTT
Agreed.
4. Behind them in the same shot the man is searching for his
parrot still when a he is knocked over by somthing just out
of camera shot. He then gets to his feet and somthing huge
sweeps down and carries him off.
The three boys turn around
MAX
Where did that dude go?!
LEO
Don't know, don't really care
SCOTT
Look he's left his food
Without thinking all three boys take a spoonfull. their eyes
change to colour to white, they slump to the floor.
