The Telerik Platform is a suite of tools for developing, testing, deploying and analyzing hybrid mobile applications. Hybrid mobile applications are most commonly built using PhoneGap, which interprets HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript and compiles it into a package that can be delivered in the app stores. PhoneGap also utilizes Apache Cordova JavaScript APIs to access certain native mobile features of the device. The Telerik Platform uses AppBuilder to abstract the complexity of PhoneGap/Cordova and provides a more intuitive way to build hybrid mobile applications.
