3. Link Your Accounts
• First, you’ll want to link to your
debt accounts – this includes
credit cards, mortgages, and
student loan debt.
• Type in the name of your lender
and then you’ll be prompted to
enter the login credentials you use
to log on to that lender’s website.
• Then your accounts will be linked
and update automatically. This is
totally safe as ReadyForZero uses
bank-level security and is PCI
compliant.
4. Verify Your Plan
• After you link your debt accounts,
a debt payoff plan is created based
off of the minimum payments for
each account. The first plan you’ll
see shows when you’ll be paid off
if you pay minimum payments
only.
• You can adjust your payment plan
anytime. Simply move the sliders
or type in the boxes and you can
create a plan based off of the date
you want to be debt-free or how
much you can pay each month.
• This plan is your guide as you make
your debt payments each month.
5. View Your Progress
• All you have to do now is follow
the plan when you make your
payments and view the progress
page to see how you’re doing.
• Our website updates nightly so
anytime there is a change on your
linked account your progress chart
will update automatically.
• Sit back and relax while you watch
your debt go down to zero!
6. How ReadyForZero Works
• Sounds simple, right? So how does it work? ReadyForZero’s
algorithm follows the debt avalanche method which is the easiest
and fastest way to pay off debt.
• Debt Avalanche Method:
• When you link accounts, the highest interest rate account is selected and is
called your target account.
• If you pay over the minimum due each month, the extra will go to your
target account only.
• Once your target account is paid off, the amount paid on that each month
should be redirected to your new target account – and so on until you’re
debt-free.
• Using the debt avalanche method means if you only pay your minimums each
month, you’ll still pay your debt off faster than if you did so without the help of
ReadyForZero!
