 4G LTE was designed just like WiMAX with spectral efficiency in mind for the
support of high-speed, bandwidth intensive, low-latency multi-media applications
 4G WiMAX proved itself as an off-the-shelf broadband wireless technology which
could support the quality of service required by the end-user
 The FCC launched the National Broadband Plan in 2010 to mandate the planning,
development and delivery of broadband wireless to the remaining 100 million
Americans
 The spectrum crisis is an opportunity for the industry to enable a variety of
existing technology options to accommodate the insatiable data-demand well
into the future
