The RHD is a robotic arm equipped with a gripper, and a wireless remote handle controller device (RHC) able to make the robotic articulation to replicate its movement. They are connected through a Bluetooth communication. Servos are used in the construction of the robotic arm. The RHC is equipped with four ADXL345 accelerometers and a HMC5843 digital compass as sensors. A mbed Microcontroller base on NXP LPC1768 with an ARM Cortex-M3 Core is used to control the RHC and a Pololu micro serial servo controller to control the robotic arm.
