Facebook has become one of the most popular ways
for companies of all kinds to promote their brands,
yet few are effectively using the tool to market
themselves to job seekers. One of the most
straightforward ways of doing this is the use of the
job board page, which companies can keep current
using a variety of available apps and tools.
 Some, such as SocialBios, even allow job seekers to
explore company culture by viewing profiles of
current employees and connecting with them.
Employers that recruit on Facebook also need to have
a way of proactively reaching out to potential
candidates. Some elect to use targeted ads, which let
the employer recruit users with specific educational
backgrounds or levels of work experience. Regardless
of strategy, recruiters on Facebook must keep
content updated and must strive to engage the
attention of job seekers who visit the page. This
includes ad responders as well as referrals and those
who might be qualified candidates but visit the page
for another purpose.
