A Strong NEED for SCPSW
• The end results of the study proposes a strong need for providing
Safe living, and a paradigm shift towards SCPSW. Infact, the results
quietly revealed no such after-math social support programme and
community rehabilitate program existed.
• Social Work is a Profession committed to improving the Quality of
Work life (QWL) of people through various interventions. Because,
always the mission of Social Work is “social betterment”. The
intervention of SCPSW was felt very much because the role of
SCPSW during the crises days is immense. It is also highlighted how
SCPSW can be part of comprehensive Rehabilitation program in
providing Safe living, and working towards Safe Community
12. MACRO Postdoctoral work
The paper is part of MACRO Postdoctoral work of Dr M M Bagali, under ICSSR Project

Research project has been taken-up at higher level for discussion and policy making,
while looking at how Safe Community Social Worker intervention in health
improvement is possible.
