Stream allows users to view shared content from their connections and see comments move posts to the top. Circles allow users to organize connections and selectively share posts only with certain circles. Hangouts is a video chat feature that allows up to 10 users to chat and watch YouTube videos together.

2. STREAM
Works like Facebook’s News Feed where you can tag friends and view what they share,
except when someone comments on a post, it moves back to the top of the stream.

3. CIRCLES
The concept comes from Facebook and Twitter Lists. You can separate who sees what
you share by organizing your connections into separate “circles”. Before you post on
your profile, you can select which circles you would like to see your post. You can also
choose to view filtered content shared from each circle.

4. HANGOUTS
A video feature where you can “hangout” with up to 10 friends in a video chat room by
announcing you’re available to chat. You can also watch a Youtube video simultaneously
in the room.

5. +1 BUTTON
Google’s version of Facebook’s “Like” button. As of now, you have to go to a person’s
profile to see what they +1’d..

6. PHOTOS
The same as Facebook’s photos, but with an improved slideshow, photo tag approval
and more photo editing options such as adjusting contrast.

7. SPARKS
It’s like an RSS feed that gathers content from all over the web based on any broad or
specific interest you type in and add to your profile. The point of this is to give you more
things to share.

8. MOBILE
In the Android version, you can have Huddle group text chats with your circles and
instantly upload your phone pictures into a private album that can be edited later. The
iPhone version is in the works.
