  • 2. What is Declining Biodiversity?
    • Biodiversity means many different life forms. Declining Biodiversity is when we lose animals and plants from our planet.
  • 3. What are the effects of Declining Biodiversity?
    • Losing one species of plant or animal can harm many others. If you lose all of the deer, wolves would have nothing to eat. Wolves might then become extinct.
  • 4. What causes Declining Biodiversity?
    • The causes of Declining Biodiversity are polluting rivers and streams, cutting down trees, and human activities like too much hunting and fishing.
  • 5. What are some solutions for Declining Biodiversity?
    • Some solutions are:
    • People can build bird houses
    • People are planting trees
    • People can build butterfly gardens
    • People can follow the rules for fishing and hunting

  • 7. What is Overpopulation?
    • Overpopulation is when you have a lot of people in a country or state.
  • 8. What causes Overpopulation?
    • The cause of overpopulation is that every 60 seconds more then 250 people are born. Experts project our planet could be home to more then 9 billion people in the near future.
  • 9. What are the effects of Overpopulation?
    • One effect of overpopulation is that one day on Earth there may be more people than the resources the Earth has.
  • 10. What are some solutions for Overpopulation?
    • One solution for overpopulation is that people can grow things in gardens to provide food. In effort to slow population growth in China couples must ask permission to the government to have more than one child.
