5. What politicians said This is the most valuable thing I have been involved with since I became a councillor. The community has taken the lead in talking about the things that matter to them. A new way of thinking about how we provide services. Raised our profile in our wards. People have seen us make things happen.
6. What the communities said You seem to think the more you communicate the happier we are. We don’t see any actions. Be honest and tell us if it cant be done. We found shared solutions which ultimately means we will take shared responsibility. The Council really listened and we had a dialogue.
7. What public service managers said I welcomed being in a position where the Council wasn’t in control and we had to go with the flow As officers this is all about listening and hearing in a different way. I now have a very strong sense of “why we are here” and “what we are here to do”
