Tips to help expand your awareness on managing
Stress.
People in all walks of life experience
stress. There are lots of people in the
world experienced from this. Stress is
a “silent killer” which causes high
blood and many harmful diseases but
many people are not aware on how to
handle this.
Check out these helpful tips that you can do
to fight stress:
1.Voice-out. Express your feelings instead of keeping
them up. Talk to a trusted person or set an
appointment with a counsellor. Go to a place where
you can shout freely what you feel inside.
2. Evade Cramming. Manage your time and plan
ahead the activities to avoid overextending yourself.
Too much thinking and worrying to a fast-approaching
deadline can cause a lot of stress.
3. Develop a sense of humour. Laughing helps a
person’s body fight stress. Engage in a group of
people who has a sense of funniness. Watch
comedy movies that can make you laugh while
relaxing.
4. Forget and Forgive. Learn to let go to the things
that causes you anger and hatred. Remember that
we live in an imperfect world with flawed people
around us.
5. Set the word “NO” in your vocabulary. A
person has a limitation and you have to know your
limits and never step-out to it. You can’t do all the
things in just a blink of your eyes. Remember that
you are a human being not a designed robot.
6. Avoid stressful people. Never escort a person who
causes stress in your life and limit the amount of time
you spend in dealing such person.
7. Shake your body. Daily exercise keeps you in
good health and minimized anxiousness. Schedule
30-40 minutes from three to four times a week and
get enough time to have a walk during free periods
8. Stay cool. Relaxing is one way to lessen stress.
Learn to control your emotion and think many times
before you react to a situation.
9. Yes to healthy diet. Eat lots of healthy foods
such as fruits and vegetables. Eating nutritious
foods every day and avoiding junk foods is the key
to a well-nourished body that helps you to handle
with stress.
10. Right amount of sleep. Seven to eight hours
of sleep each day will help fuels your mind and
body. Lack amount of sleep raises your stress
since it causes you to think unreasonably.
