The document summarizes two experiments that investigated relationships between folded paper and load-bearing ability. Experiment 1 varied the number of folds and measured maximum mass held. Experiment 2 varied paper area by changing block gap width and also measured maximum mass held. The results showed little relationship between folds and load capacity, but an inverse relationship between area and load capacity. Sources of error were identified as coin placement variations, data repetition inconsistencies, and small sample sizes. Improved methodology was proposed for future experiments.
