Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle, (22 May 1859 – 7 July 1930) was a Scottish physician and writer, most noted for his stories about the “Detective Sherlock Holmes”, which are generally considered a major innovation in the field of crime fiction, and for the adventures of Professor Challenger. He was a prolific writer whose other works include science fiction stories, historical novels, plays and romances, poetry, and non-fiction.
The future king of Bohemia is about to marry a princess and needs the help of Sherlock Holmes to retrieve a picture of him with a former lover, Irene Adler. The photo is in the hands of women and he fears that Ms. Adler can use that picture to blackmail and to sabotage his upcoming wedding woman. Holmes realizes that the picture is hidden in the woman's house. When they go the next day to find the photo there is only a servant, who opens the door to Holmes and gives him a letter from Irene Adler, and took away the photo, but pretended not to do anything against the king. Along with the letter, Holmes leaves her a photo of him dressed up.
Helen Stoner lives with her stepfather, Dr Grimesby Roylott. He is an aggressive man. Helen is in danger and Holmes wants to help her . Sherlock and Watson went to her house to investigate but her stepfather threatens them and Sherlock made a plan. When they heard the whistle Sherlock put the stick in the ventilator and Helen’s stepfather shouted. They ran to his room and discovered a snake next to his dead body. They caught the snake and told everything to the police. Helen was no longer in danger.
John Oppensaw is awed by receiving five orange seeds in an envelope with the initials KKK. Also his father and his uncle Elijah had received a similar shipment days before both victims perished but to the police, it seemed to mishaps. The initials KKK stand for Ku Klux Klan. Sherlock Holmes can not save the life of his client, drowning in the Atlantic. On the inside of the envelope, he wrote, S. H. for J. O. in red. The ship sank far out in the ocean.
