1. Peter Whitehead A brief introduction to some of my diverse engineering competencies and resulting product innovations Professional - strengths in global business, engineering & product development

2. Bottle Top Development I designed & developed automated inspection equipment for United Glass for glass bottles/containers used in a variety products from food, and beverage to medical products. My innovative design & development of bottle tops/caps is in current use worldwide

3. Plastic and metal tops The variety & use of the bottle tops/ caps I created include safety features for many diverse products such as medicines, beverage, cleaning, consumer and industrial products.

4. Packaging – Pneumatic Capping Head My invention & patent - a pneumatic capping head for applying metal bottle tops for soft drinks, alcohol, & cosmetic packaging in addition to other products

5. Multi Head Capping Machine This pneumatic capping head led to the development of a new generation of multi head machines, allowing for greater product safety and production (800 bottles per minute). The benefit of using pneumatic control, every roller applied the same force. The top and side force was adjustable with the machine running and from 2 control valves. Changing settings in under 1 minute instead of 1 hour on previous mechanical machines. The production machine used a PLC to perform pre-start checks to ensure caps were in the chute, the bowl feeder was running and air pressure was correct

6. Laboratory Furniture At Sintacel I led the development of a range of laboratory furniture, and fume cabinets used in hospitals, schools, universities, & government research labs. One of the first to embrace sustainability in our designs

7. Automotive Mirrors Automotive mirrors, optimized for performance using FEA, and selection of materials. Incorporating self dimming glass, electronic control, heaters and cameras.

8. Transit, Truck & Bus Components Electronic suspension control modules Mirrors Bus air distribution and lighting (florescent and LED)

9. Vehicle Door Handles FD Driver Side With or without keying Lift gate Tailgate or Lift Glass Third Door on P-U Window Crank Inside Door Handle

10. Interior Trim Soft and hard trim, lighting, storage, switches, & video screens. For automotive, truck sleeper cabs and coaches; concepts readily translatable to aircraft, watercraft, & office.
