organization. Getting executive team buy-in will allow for prioritization of
efforts within your team’s workload.

✔ Have a deep understanding of your audience’s needs.
Content needs an audience. And your audiences need content. Utilize
tools such as buyer personas based on research to better understand
what problems your content needs to solve.

✔ Determine the best content mix based on your audience.
Even the greatest content can fall flat if it’s delivered in a format your
audience can’t or won’t access. Understanding audience preference
and accessibility limitations can help to define content types, delivery
mechanisms and curation strategies.

✔ Use an editorial calendar to plan content in advance.
The best content marketing programs in the world begin with a carefully
planned editorial calendar. This acts as your framework for executing
all of your strategic efforts and helps keep teams focused.

For every piece of content created, find an additional 5-6 ways to
repurpose it to get the most out of your efforts.
