EXPLORING LEARNING PLAYING INTERACTING
We propose a flexible learning model
that will provide opportunities for engaging families
                to exploring, playing,
          learning and interacting together
OUR GOALS

• Providing families opportunities for face to face social,
  cultural learning and interaction
• Creating an online platform that provides PBL (project
based learning) projects and tools so families can
  design their own experiences.
• Facilitating opportunities of face to face social
  interaction among families
• Fostering the idea of exploring and learning
TOGETHER as a family and interact and receive
  feedback from other participating families
RATIONAL
1. Many parents struggle to provide meaningful learning
and cultural experiences to their kids.
2. Economical and time constraints in families limit the
availability of meaningful, free or low cost resources.
3. Families follow strict daily routines with little free time.
4. Parents have work restrictive schedules, they feel
overworked, tired and lack good ideas of how to spend
     quality time with their kids.
5. Children are always complaining about how bored they
and parents don’t really know what to do with their kids
anymore but to provide them with technology gadgets
and tools for self entertainment and often times learning
     as well.
THE ONLINE ENVIRONMENT

• The internet is full of learning activities that
are one direction and limit interaction and
    ineffective feedback among participants.
• There is a lack of good quality learning
resources and games that target both,
    parents and children.
• Children get easily bored playing on a online
    environment.
• Face to face interaction is virtually eliminated

•
• OUR COMMUNITY

• Often, we find that our own communities offer a
wide variety of cultural, artistic and fun
programming, activities and resources but most of
them don’t allow families participating as a “team”
and limit sharing, feedback and follow up.
• It is hard to find a one stop access to active and
    current programming, activities, resources and
    games.
• We just ignore the cultural and artistic offering in
our communities. Parents have become lazy
explorers and facilitators of meaningful fun.
OUR VISION

•To take advantage of the resources that are already
available in the community and utilize them as assets in the
process of CBL production.

• To allow families to interact on a face to face or distance
level with other participant families.

•To foster Independent parent-child learning interaction.

• To develop an environment where families discover
learning as “play”.
OUR VISION…
• To help parents learn 21st century skills needed today to be able to
understand and communicate with their children more effectively.

• To help parents raised cultured, well balanced children that
appreciate simple experiential and unstructured learning.

• To instill in children the notion of global adventure without living their
city.

•To provide parents guidance in the importance of finding a balance
between their very busy time and finding quality and engaged time
with their kids

•To enable families with disabilities to take part in the virtual projects
without leaving their homes.
• Each family/participant will be able to their own portfolio of the
projects they participated in
WHY IS IT SUSTAINABLE?
We plan to build upon the, knowledge, skills and resources that parents, families and
communities already have available either offline and online.

Our vision is for to foster independent participation and or Challenge Based learning
project production

Each family can create and adapt our resources to their own communities

We are using technology as a tool for ELPI together. Everything could be adaptable to
each family’s technology resources inventory and skills.
Families with K-adult members

We embrace every family format there is, including
families with not mobile or disable members
anywhere in the world.
BUSINESS MODEL

 This start up pretends to be initially free of charge
for a (unknown) period of time
 We are planning to request grant funding
 Once the product has established its presence in
the community, we will include some sort of
     revenue model.
 It is our intention to make the project self
     sustainable outside the initial investment
