TRIANGLES AND IT’S PROPERTIES
A Triangle is a simple closed figure made up of three line segments.
Triangles are classified into several types:-
2. Properties of Triangles:-
1) The six elements of a triangle are, Sides and Vertices.
2) The sum of lengths of any two sides of a triangle is to be greater than the length of the third side.
3) The difference between any two sides of a triangle is less than the length of third side.
4) The total measure of three angles in a triangle is equal to 180°. This is called the angle sum
property of a triangle.
5) The measure of an exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of its interior opposite angles.
This is called an exterior angle property of the triangle.
