TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES (Asymmetrical system, evolves
differently in different parts of the world.)

               SOCIAL EVOLUTION?

• In 10 years, information flow will increase
even more,as will do the number of users
of said technologies… but can such flow of
information actually be filtered or controlled?

  • Useful technology needs to be relevant to
the user, will that be maintained with the
increased launch of new products?....or will the
market be overflown with non relevant products?

¿Technology to serve consumers, or consumers to
serve technology?

                                                        6
• Can they implement technology in such a
way they can find their own competitive
advantages?...or will they keep playing catch-up?

• Are there any socieconomic or cultural
challenges braking or slowing down their
progress?...in such case, can technology itself help
reshape society, or overcome those handicaps?.

• Are they differentiating the deeds and
mistakes of the Pioneers?...Or are they just
   mirroring them?

      Can they become relevant?

                                                     7
• Network Economies value
  depends on the number of
  users of such networks.

• If managed properly, both
    parties could benefit from
    the increased information
    flow, reducing boundaries
    and gaps between them.

• 10 Years is an enormous time
  lapse for technology;changes
  are bound to happen,with
  unpredictable consequences.

                                 8
The true social revolution will occur when Technology advancements systematically
benefit all social groups and economies; let them use it to redefine their basis!

                                                                                     9

Expected Population
distribution • According to the United
                                             Nations, it is expected that
by the year 2050, >70% of
Population the world population will be
30% living in living in cities.
                       cities.
Population • This will raise the big
70% living in rural question: Will cities be
                       areasOther. sustainable?
Sprawls High Density areas

of service coverage, accesibility, and car expensive, better coverage, less

                                                                                    12

• Technology Advancements
    need to strive for relevancy.

• Technology advancements
    need to promote equality.

• Technology advancements
    need to promote efficiency.

• Technology Advances need
    to catalyze responsible
    change.

                             14
Closely related to what I exposed in part I, if we achieve to eliminate boundaries
between societies, we will be one step closer to homogenization, resource optimization
and self sustainable cities, thanks to a bidirectional feedback flow.

                                                                                    15

How would you ensure every part of your instructions will reach your
subordinates, suppliers and clients, located in different parts of the world?.

                                           • It’s at its basis a matter of
                                               communication.

                                           • Different groups require a different
                                               approach, because they have
                                               different information needs.

                                           • The social interaction will, then,
                                               vary among them.

                                                                                      17
 Complicated hierarchy
                    chains or organizational
                    layouts could diminish our
Hierarchy chain ability to properly send our
                    message across the line.

                   When delivering complex
                    instructions, constant
                    feedback proves
                    essential;this array
                    hampers the flow.

                                                   18
 Complex situations require
   flexibility,and solid feedback
   channels.

 Flattening the hierarchy allows
  a balance of power, usually
  improving motivation, and
  promoting diversity.

                                    19
The complexities…
 A global market brings the
                       complexities of logistics into the
                       table.

 Our relationships should be based
                      in loyalty and mutual collaboration,
especially if they are of foremost
                      strategic importance.

 We should ask ourselves a series
…of logistics. of questions then…

                                                             20
What can we do What can they do for
for them? us?

                                 Can we help them
Are our objectives with their objectives?
     aligned?

 Do we trust
   them?
                     FEEDBACK Do they trust us?

                                                      21
 No matter the type of clients we have
        (enterprises, individuals, etc), our number
one rule should be knowing them in detail.

 Cater to their real needs, not what we think
they need; their needs are our goals.

 Let’s keep the feedback flowing!

                                                      22
Understanding!

                 SUCCESS!

                            23
If we really want our information to get across all target groups…

                                                           Let´s work together!

                                                                              24
